The Winchcombe 10k Hill Climb is running for its third year on 28 August 2011. Last year there was a field of over 120 runners in what tries to be an especially friendly event.

As you can tell from the name, this is a hill challenge – there’s a great view from the top!

Winchcombe Hill Climb (10k approx)
Sunday 28 August 2011 at 10.30am—Sudeley Castle, Winchcombe
Multi-terrain route climbs over 650 feet.

Age 15 and over.
Closing date for pre-entries: Friday 26 August.
In advance: £8 club affiliated, £10 unattached
On the day: £10 club affiliated, £12 unattached (by 10am)
LIMITED ENTRIES ON THE DAY—MAXIMUM 150 FOR 10k RUN

There is also a 5k run and a 1k race for children under 10, with a “zumba” warm-up and celebrity guest runners.
